SMD Chooses Scantrol As AHC Partner For Launch & Recovery Systems
Scantrol recently received orders for supplying two Scantrol AHC LARS units to Soil Machine Dynamics Limited (SMD) in United Kingdom. To be chosen as a partner for AHC systems for one of the world’s leading manufacturers of remote intervention equipment emphasizes that Scantrol supplies world-class leading products of high quality and reliability.
Both AHC systems have been ordered to integrate with existing SMD designed LARS equipment to extend ROV operational capability in adverse conditions. They will be paired with two Centurion SP 250 hp Work Class ROV Systems, the latest evolution in the highly successful Centurion fleet.
Scantrol has worked closely with the company for the last two years in order to get the first order consisting of two systems.
To become the supplier of AHC solutions for world leading manufacturers such as SMD is an important turning point for Scantrol AHC. During the last three years the company has been present at major offshore and subsea trade shows with live demonstrations to promote the product in the market.
