Audacious BF83 Successful upgrade of Pentagon CBUS to Scantrol SYM7
An increasing number of vessels have experienced the benefits of using SYM 7 Autotrawl with MacGregor/Rapp trawl winches. We are happy to announce that we have Scantrol SYM7 upgrade kits in stock for all electric and hydraulic MacGregor trawl winches.
Recently we were contacted by DonFishing company in Peterhead and skipper David Gatt that were missing functionality in their existing Pentagon CBUS Autotrawl. They challenged us to install Scantrol SYM 7 on their vessel Audacious BF83.
Together with Nordkontakt AS and Scantrol SYM7 R&D team, we have extended our range of upgrade kits to also include newer versions of hydraulic and electric Pentagon Autotrawls.
Audacious BF83 is the first vessel to install Scantrol SYM7 as an upgrade for the Pentagon CBUS system. We are happy to announce that installation, commissioning, and sea-trials have been a great success. Installation took 1 day, and the vessel was ready for sea-trial already the following day.
