Due to increased interest in Active Heave Compensation (AHC) systems, Scantrol has had a busy year in 2013. Focusing on the buoyant subsea market in the Far East and Europe, Scantrol has become a recognized player in the offshore industry.

Scantrol recently received orders for supplying two Scantrol AHC LARS units to Soil Machine Dynamics Limited (SMD) in United Kingdom.

Scantrol recently received orders for supplying four Scantrol AHC LARS units to Fugro Subsea Technologies in Singapore. All four AHC systems ordered will be operating with Fugro’s flagship, the Work Class FCV 3000 ROV system in order to increase operational time for the Fugro ROV support fleet.

Scantrol has developed Active Heave Compensation (AHC) that will work with all different hydraulic and electrical winches. The new iSYM Crane Control with AHC has recently been fitted on a 100 ton first class marine crane from Heila.
